Location : Nationwide Period of Contract: 1 year Start Date : Fall semester begins mid August Spring semester begins mid February Work hours : 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, 22 hours teaching/week Salary : 1.8~2.7 million Korean Won per month Housing: furnished single housing Paid leave : 19-21 working days provided Sick leave : 15 calendar days Entrance allowance : W1,300,000 Settlement allowance : W300,000 (approximately U$300) Health Insurance, pension plan, severance pay Airfare is reimbursed One week paid orientation Duties Teach ESL at a public school in Seoul. Conduct English conversation classes for Korean elementary, middle school or high school grade students. Assist Korean Teachers with their English classes and/or jointly conduct English classes. Prepare and develop teaching material. Assist with activities related to English language education and other extracurricular activities. |
