You will be translating from English to German, possibly from French (if qualified). Apply to rm@withu.ie Job Description: Leader in localization/translation is looking for qualified English to FRENCH translators with a minimum of 4 years in the localization industry or a related field. Must have excellent mother tongue skills and be able to produce high-quality technical and marketing texts, mainly for use in the IT industry. Knowledge of some of the industry-specific tools required. Your tasks will include translating software, online help systems, user documentation and collateral. Also: newsletters, company brochures and similar materials. Besides translation you will be involved in revising colleagues’ work and occasionally QA or testing duties. Candidate Requirements: * You must have a degree in Translation (English – and possibly German – into FRENCH), and above-average language skills. * Able to produce around 2500 words per day, on average. * Able to work independently but as part of a team. * Eye for detail, meticulousness. | ||||||||||||
