Why Me?
What makes you the best person for your job?
I have recently graduated from the TESL MA program at the University of British Columbia and for my dissertation, I investigated the use of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) in an English for Academic Purpose (EAP) program syllabus at a British Columbia local institution, analyzing the CLB influence on curricular decisions. This academic experience gave me the opportunity to learn about the Canadian ESL/EAP context more in depth. Thus, I believe I can offer my expertise to assist your students achieve their linguistic goals more efficiently, allying my teaching experience in all levels of ESL/EFL with my passion for learning and researching.

What is your best project so far? Why?
Over twenty-five years working as an ESL/EFL instructor in Canada and abroad, training students of different linguistic backgrounds, has enabled me to upgrade my knowledge and teaching techniques in order to design each and every class so that it fits its purpose accordingly in an interactive and dynamic way. In addition, I have coordinated field trips aiming at providing a more realistic learning experience.

What do your students / customers say about you?
I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient and it is my goal to combine my expertise with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, motivated teacher; one who will make a positive contribution to the institution/ student.
