| Why Me? |
What makes you the best person for your job? Superorganized, vivacious, enthusiastic, flexible, responsible.
What is your best project so far? Why? I worked for a small college where I Increased school’s positive reputation and popularity by taking the initiative to create the first ESL/Workplace Literacy program for housekeeping and maintenance workers with volunteer tutors. Taught literacy classes and served as substitute teacher. Planned and conducted training workshops for tutors and teachers. Developed curricula and syllabi. Screened and recruited volunteer staff. Designed and developed procedures to facilitate retention. Organized special events for volunteers, students, and donors. Administered budget. Successfully wrote program grants. I have taken that experience and developed teaching seminars.
What do your students / customers say about you? My students say that I'm very energetic and my classes are fun.
