What makes you the best person for your job?
I love to teach. I am experienced, committed, dependable, I spend time matching the lessons to the students needs. I love to find different ways to teach a point. I like to be very creative and expressive,
What is your best project so far? Why?
The most applicable project that I have done, is the two years I spent teaching a group of German women. This group included professionals and housewives. We sat around a table for three hours every Tuesday morning, sharing our lives in English. I did a lot of listening, I then taught the necessary grammar and vocabulary as creatively as I could, using a mixture of formal teaching and fun activities. This is my strength, trying to keep the English sessions as relevant to everyday life as possible, at the same time helping the business women achieve their goals at work.
What do your students / customers say about you?
I have had many students stay with me for a year or more. They like the detail that I place on correct grammar and how i am able to explain it. One of my recent students has really enjoyed the online powerpoint presentations that I do to help the lessons flow. They like the fact that I correct their work and send new lessons promptly. |
